ABOUT LYNNÉ:
Lynné Filion is a yoga instructor and teaching artist living and working in Downingtown, PA. She has her BFA from Moore College of Art and Design and teaches art to elementary and middle school aged students in a number of locations in Chester County. She often combines her artistic background with her love of yoga with an Elementary Yoga and Art Curriculum she has developed and taught at various public schools in the area. In addition to that, Lynné teaches yoga privately and publicly at various community centers, and corporations, offering offsite yoga for workplaces, athletic groups, and more. Her students range in age from preschool to adult, with each class specifically designed around the student’s goals and needs. She has taught for 6 years and has practiced since she was 12. She holds her 500 hour E-RYT in Hatha Yoga, with additional certificates in Restorative Yoga, Meditation, Children’s Yoga, and Trauma Sensitive Yoga. She is also an Ayurvedic Yoga Specialist. She enjoys teaching gentle and beginner classes and is always adapting classes to be accessible to everyone in the room. She enjoys working with private clients to help develop their practice and meet individual needs, and works one on one with athletes to improve balance, flexibility, strength, and mindfulness. She was selected for Yoga Alliance’s Community Service Award for her yoga outreach in Coatesville and the Chester County Youth Detention Center. Lynné loves the transformative capability of yoga and enjoys sharing it with her students both young and old.
She continues to learn, study, and research in an effort to provide the best classes possible for her students.
